1st Scoring Drive of the Game
The Boulders we're moving the ball down the field by running the ball down the Throat of Messenger Defense. The Instant Messengers intercepted the ball at the 3 yard line and moved the ball down the field in 4 . Both Quarterbacks threw interceptions in the first Quarter. The Instant Messengers threw 2 that put the Boulders in field goal range but the Boulders only came up with 3 points.
Goin into the 2nd Quarter the Instant Messengers started the Quarter with a goal line stand and recovered a fumble that once again put them in field goal range. They got 3 points out of it and we're just trailing by one at that point. The Instant Messengers once again got another turnover in the redzone and we're moving the ball rather well until they themselves fumbled the ball away again. The Boulders got a field goal out of this and took the lead at halftime.
The 3rd Quarter's opening drive had the Instant Messengers turning the ball over again this time on a interception. Both teams we're turning the ball over but the Instant Messengers kept turning the ball over in there own territory. The Instant Messengers we're running the ball very well in this quarter and they managed to score 2 touchdowns while they we're at it. The Boulders managed to keep the lead by getting a couple of scores themsleves.
Just before the End of the 3rd Quarter ended the Instant Messengers got interception and going into the 4th Quarter they got a field goal off that turn over and got a 24-23 lead. However the Boulders wasted no time and scored on a huge 85 yard touchdown run. The Instant Messengers had not allowed any team a run that huge all season long. The Instant Messengers gave the ball away again deep in there own territory but managed to hold the boulders to a field goal but now they are trailing 9 points with just over 8 minutes to go in the game. They got the ball with just over 4 minutes to go and got a field goal out of it but they took alot of time off the clock for that one field goal. The Boulders took alot of time off the clock and gave the ball back to the Messengers with 15 seconds remaining and that was all she wrote.
