Armageddon demanding yet another new stadium

The league's uncertain state is still at hand and yet the Armageddon are demanding a new stadium to be built immediately or else they'll move to another state or another country for that matter. There might not even be a league after this season but the team fails to believe this'll happen. Reports out of the Armageddon camp are that if they don't get a new stadium soon they will poop on the current stadium repeatedly on a daily basis until there demands are met.

The LA mayor spoke to the press this morning and said "We are at the teams mercy" "If you've ever been into the team's Restroom then you know exactly what I'm talking about" said the Mayor, He didn't exactly say that they we're gonna give in to there demands because they are looking into other options at this point in time. The city has exactly 1 month to comply.
The league's Future is in Jeopardy
The NAFL has been struggling moneywise the this past season and may fold altogether everyone is gasping and awaiting the commisioner's final decision on the matter. No word on when that final decision will be made.
Congrats To the Rangers for Pulling the upset

For the 3rd straight year Viper's team fails to win the big one. To his credit he was not present on this last game because he was banned by the league. Perhaps this would've been his year to finally win the big one, you know what they say the third time's charm.
Obcourse in this game Louisville jump ahead early but the Rangers win it 24-19.
Cavaliers
spear the Armageddon 40-16

The Cavaliers kill the Armageddon, this was a good chance to get out of this season with some closure but the team failed to produce. What will happen next season only time will tell, but Paul Smith's future looks extremely bright. The Armageddon also cut offensive linemen Ken Leber for not wanting to renegotiate his extremely high contract with the team. The team released him before they take the caphit at the beginning of next season.
The Playoffs are on

The
Doomed ones end there losing streak by pounding a weak team

Week 15 Season 3
The Armageddon finally get a win and what a win it was indeed they win by the score of 31-12. They beat up on the weekest team in the league . Many thought they should've just folded so they can get a high draft pick. But the Armageddon had something to prove!!! That was to beat the living crap out of weak defenseless team. Many feel that this can carry over to next week and hopefully into next season.
The

The
flood drown the Armageddon again

Week 12 season 3
The Armageddon lose again and down go there play off hopes as well. There is still a chance but the only way is to take there division and they have to win there remaining games and hope that Storm lose a few themsleves. It doesn't look good folks but they may be a deadly team this coming year with Paul Smith at the helm.
Next week the team has to face the
Lightning
does strike twice

Week 11 Season 3
As the title of this article says lightning does strike twice because the Storm took care of business in convincing fashion and took the overall lead 4-2 by sweeping the Doomsday Squad by the score of 55-10. It was not the game that everyone thought it would be. Both times the Storm took care of business quite easily. The only player who actually did something for the Armageddon was running back Walt Suggs.
Next week they gotta deal with the Johnstown Flood. The team will be looking to avenge a 28-0 preseason loss to this team. Even tho it was preseason the players ran off the field crying and Quarterback Paul Smith swore veangence upon the deceitfull ones know as the Flood.
2
WINS IN A ROW 2 WINS IN A ROW 24-7
The Seatle Curse has been broken

Week 10 Season 3
The Armageddon did something they could not do for a long time and that is beat the Seattle Seadogs and get on a 2 game winning streak. The last time the Armageddon beat the Seadogs was way back when they first met each other but after that the dogs put a owned tag on the Doomsday squad by beating them 4 straight times. Even after the team owner sold the team back to the league because he no longer had time to run the team. The Armageddon failed time after time to get a win against this team but now they got the monkey off there back and it's time to march into Long Beach and even up the score with them.
Next of course they got there Arch nemesis The Long Berach Storm to deal with. The Storm right now lead the overall series 3-2 but with a win the Armageddon can even things out for a 3rd straight year. Skeptics thinks that this will be impossible for the Armageddon but the Armageddon team believes this is very possible because they have won 2 in a row against 2 teams that beat them earlier this season.
For the first time ever this rivalry matchup will actually mean something and the winner will take the division lead. Both teams are at a point where they can start turning things around.
The
Doomsday Squad snaps a 2 game skid

Week 9 Season 3
The Doomsday Squad (AKA LA Armageddon) snaps a 2 game skid by edging the Saskatchewan Steelers by the score of 18-12. Could good things be ahead for these fellas only time will tell. The Armageddon got to avenge there earlier loss to Steelers this season just like last season and lead the overall series 4-2. They must do the same in the coming week against there Arch nemesis The Long Berach Storm. The Storm right now lead the overall series 3-2 but with a win the Armageddon can even things out for a 3rd straight year. Skeptics thinks that this will be impossible for the Armageddon but the Armageddon team believes this is very possible.
Big
Surprise The Armageddon fall yet again 35-16

Week 7 Season 3
The Armageddon once again fall victim to there arch rivals The Storm and Coach knoll had no excuses for the loss. The Storm owner was no where to be found in the past 2 weeks and since then the team has failed to win games in his absence and despite that the Armageddon failed to capitilize. "This was the most humiliating defeat so far in the teams history. I know I keep bringing that up week after week but this one was even worse because we lost to our unprepared rivals.
The team gets a much needed bye this week and reports are coming out of town that the team has already been parading around town like a couple of playboys. Most people we're just plain laughing at them.
Next week is a bye week but the following week they will be facing the Steelers. The Armageddon will be out for revenge after there loss to the Steelers earlier this season. Last year they avenged there earlier loss to the mighty Canadians so CAN THEY DO IT AGAIN?!!!!!........... probably not.
The
Armageddon we're pecked to death by the Cardinals 34-0

Week 6 Season 3
The Armageddon were embarrassed by a team that was abandoned by it's owner 2 days prior to kick off. They had no answer for the Almighty birds from the East which unleashed a beating so severe not even the Marvel character wolverine (with his healing factor) can recover from. The bleeding started early for the Dark ones and immediately it was quite clear that doom was upon the Armageddon players. The Cardinals began moving the ball down the field with the greatest of ease but somehow the Armageddon managed to stop them and held them to a field goal.
The Louisville defense had an excellent game he only guy who was able to actually gain yardage on this team was Walt Suggs who gained 72 yards on the ground. The team fell behind and was forced to abandon the running game. Once again the media and fans in LA are calling for Chuck Knoll's head. But Paul Smith just maybe the Quarterback that can bail this out if he can develop a little quicker. Coach Knoll's excuse for the week was that his players partied all night long and we're hungover. Game officials found no vomit on the field to validate Mr. Knoll's claims.
Anyway once again the Armageddon the Armageddon we're denied the .500 mark. Last year was pretty much the same story. John Snyder tried to rally the team but was cut short by Division rivals.
Next week they got there long time Nemesis The Long Beach Storm and both teams are even with 3 wins a piece. Which team will come out on top. We shall see
The
Armageddon Escape with a win from the Law in Waco 27-24

Week 5 Season 3
The Armageddon get a win and get close to .500 yet again but will face a powerfull Cardinals team in the following week. With 2:28 remaining The Waco Rangers engineered a drive that put them in field goal range to tie the Game and send it into overtime. The game was clearly going Waco's way and with 42 seconds left Waco Kicker Rich Davis missed a 42 yarder. The Waco fans which cheering like crazy and Armageddon players we're seen crying as Waco was moving down the field. But after the field goal there was utter silence in the stadium.
The
Seadogs still own the Armageddon by killing them 47-22

Week 4 season 3
The Seadogs lead this series 4-1 The Armageddon won the First meeting but failed to win the last 3. This has got to be the worst loss they have ever suffered simply because the Seadogs we're ranked last in the league and we're labelled as the scumbags of the league by some of the Armageddon players. Mark "I've Fallen and I can't get up" Benjamin told the press that he had something Quarterback Dave McGinest which was pretty strange because he was scheduled to sit out the game due to injury. The Armageddon had an answer they tied the game with a
Anyway this game was ugly from the beginning the Armageddon made a serious mistake they we're really expecting the Seadogs to run the ball. Big mistake because the Seadogs took to the air and quickly struck first blood with a 29 yard pass to John Ricks. The Armageddon had an answer and his name was Kurt Rush who caught a 35 yard TD pass from Paul Smith. But the Seadogs struck again just before the 1st quarter ended with a 27 yard TD pass to Ron Wimbush and the first Quarter ended at 14-7 in favor of the Seadogs. The Armageddon answered the call yet again with a 14 yard Pass to Walt Suggs from Paul Smith but the Armageddon could not get any closer
By halftime the score was 21-14 still within reach but the 2nd half belonged entirely to the Seadogs. The Armageddon could not do anything and Paul Smith threw an interception. Coach Knoll was extremely upset but for the first time in NAFL history he took the blame for the fall.
Next Week the Armageddon have to deal with Waco and are expected to lose this bout. Right now Waco is ranked 20th over all. They are 8th on offense and 28th on defense. The Armageddon at this point are ranked 27th overall on offense they dropped down to 9th and Defensively they are ranked 26th in the league. The Steelers are slowly pulling away with the Division lead. Will the Armageddon rise from the ashes of the earth below or will they continue to dig themselves deeper into the ground. The results will unfold in next week's game as the first quarter comes to a close.
The
Armageddon finally get win by defeating the Mighty Voltigeurs 22-19

Week 3 season 3
The Armageddon finally get win and can get to .500 next week and it looks like it might be a possible feat with Seattle being ranked 32nd overall in the league and have not been able to do much on the offensive side of the ball. The game was a good one. The game went to overtime as The Armageddon finally engineered a great comeback with after Montreal scored a Heart Attack inducing touchdown that would've brought down the greatest of teams. They moved the ball 72 yards down the field in about a minutes time to take the lead 19-16 after The Armageddon for most of the 4th Quarter. The Armageddon answered back with a field goal with 6 seconds remaining.
In Overtime The Armageddon won it with a field goal and that's all she wrote.
The Armageddon as an over all team have been doing been doing pokay but have not been gathering any wins at all. In offense they are ranked 5th overall in the league which is a big improvement over last year and defensively right now they are ranked 17th. But because of there innability to garnish any wins they are ranked 24th overall. Last week they we're actually 19th and this week despite winning dropped to 24th overall.
Also Outside Linebacker Mark "I've Fallen and I can't get up" Benjamin has injured himself yet again. He will be out for 2 or weeks and if injures himself again Coach Knoll has threatened to cut him from the team despite the fact he's already homeless and can barely feed his family.
Next Opponent will be The Seattle Seadogs, The Seadogs are currently 0-3, trying to put an end to their 3 game losing streak. The quarterback for the team is Dave McGinest. He has thrown for 392 yards, with 2 TDs and 3 INTs. His QB rating is 63.8. RB Jake Ward has shouldered the load on the ground for the team so far this season.
The
Steelers slaughter the Armageddon 31-20

Week 2 Season 3 ![]()
The Armageddon still lead this series 3-2 but it looks like the Steelers will probably tie it up this season if the Armageddon continue to crumble.
This turnovers killed the team in this one definitely. Everyone thought that rookie Paul Smith was gonna have a Ben Rothlessberger season because of how well he played during the Preseason and because he played an almost mistake free game last week. But this week he came back down to earth and threw 4 interceptions despite the fact that he torched the Steelers secondary a few times and had 2 receivers catching over a 100 yards and one over 50 yards. The running game was in stride as well. Walt Suggs ran for 136 yards on 26 carries and the only thing that the Armageddon couldn't stop was the Passing attack despite having a pretty decent secondary.
So the turnovers pretty much killed the team this week next week they got Montreal and Montreal is a team that has stirred trouble in the past. If they can play a mistake free football game I really think they can win.
The
Armageddon fall victim to Hurricane Smith 20-17

Week 1 Season 3 ![]()
The Hurricanes take business by running the ball with Kent Smith who burned the Armageddon with 145 yards on 28 carries. The Armageddon's newly acquired Quarterback Paul Smith did okay for his first professional game he went 24/34 for 204 yards 2 Touchdowns and only 1 interception. Old man Snyder was definitely jealous he demanded that the team trade him to another team. Walt Suggs also had decent outing with 98 yards on the ground. Coach Knoll was not happy with the loss but knows that something can definitely come out of this and hopes his team can pull off a victory next week to get on some sort of winning track.
Every single team in the Alpha Green Division lost so definitely this is still a weak division so far. The Hampton Hurricanes lost the lead in the 4th quarter but quickly regained the lead and won the game.
Next up is the Steelers who will definitely be out for blood after The Armageddon destroyed it's last remaining play off hopes last season. That game was obcourse a game where The Armageddon we're seeking revenge on the Steelers for there earlier loss. If The Armageddon lose the Steelers will have avenged there loss for last seasons debacle, but in turn will make the Armageddon seek revenge on there upcoming matchup later on in the season. So it goes on and on and never stops.
It's
Official Paul Smith will get the start

With the Season Opener less than 2 days away the Armageddon have put there hopes on their rookie Quarterback Paul Smith and made John Snyder his backup. The press conference is happening right now as we speak let's go there live..... ugh wait sorry we can't this is a website and not an actual TV sorry about that. The season hangs in the balance. "We're not gonna just roll over and play dead I expect this youngster to win me some ball games and I sure as hell let Paul know that" said Coach Knoll. All I can hope for is that he puts his whole effort into it and I'm sure everything will fall into place. Paul Smith just finish telling the media that the Alpha green is gonna belong to the Armageddon. You heard it here folks first it was owner thornbird saying it over at the Blindsideblitz messageboard and now Paul Smith will also confirm it.
No word from the hated ones the Long Beach Storm who told Thornbird to his face that he was gonna dismantle his team. Other teams from the division have not spoken out about the bloody outrage. The league believes that Seattle will take the division for a second straight year.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the bloody confrontation between Long Beach and the Armageddon. Last year on Armageddons field some loyal Storm fans hung the beloved mascot on one of the goal posts which was a large yellow bird. In retaliation the Armageddon fans could not hang anything so they we're stumped. They did try to put lightning in a bottle during a wretched rain storm so they can that but failed miserably.
The
Armageddon surrender to the Voltigeurs 20-13

Pre Season Week 4
The Armageddon once again choke in the 4th Quarter surrending the lead this time to themighty canadian brothers up north. The Armageddon held the Voltigeurs to 3 points for an entire 3 quarters which is a pretty good effort by the defense. The game was tied at 3 and the Montreal crowd was expecting the mighty Armageddon defense to fold before the half. But they held on tight.
The Offense made the job alot easier for the defense in the 3rd quarter by scoring 10 points and taking a 13 - 0 lead. But once again the team choked in the fourth quarter by allowing Montreal to score 17 points. With 1:35 left in the Game the Armageddon had one more chance to atleast tie it up. Quarterback Anthony Sullivan completed a 14 yard pass to Tight End Mike Smith to keep the chains moving but that was all that The Armageddon could muster up as they go on lose 20-13.
"The worst Preseason I have ever been a part of and I blame the players ..... i had nothing to do with it" said Coach Knoll to the media. "Why did god forsake me with these players" continued Knoll.
Next up the team travels home to open up the season to the same team they went up against to start last year's season. The Hampton Hurricanes
The
Cardinals fly high and take down the Armageddon 27-19

PreSeason Week 3
The armgeddon spelled Doomsday for themsleves yet again and the fans we're a bit upset and they threw bags of urine unto the Armageddon players as they walked off the field. The game actually started out to be a good game. Louisville scored first but the Armageddon came back with 79 yard td pass to Stan Bailey from Paul Smith to tie it up. The Aramgeddon actually took the lead in the 2nd quarter by scoring a field goal. They managed another Field goal in the 3rd quarter to extend the lead to 13-7 and they even managed to keep the Cardinals scoreless for 2 whole quarters. In the 4th quarter the Armageddon scored yet again another Field goal to make the score 16-7.
The Cardinals managed to put the game within reach by scroing touchdown making the score 16-14. The Armageddon immediately answered back with yet another Field goal to make it 19-14. The Cardinals we're not sweating it tho and scored a touchdown to answer the call. The score was now 19-21 in favor of the Cardinals with 6:15 to go in the 4th quarter John Snyder manged to get the team to the Louisville 32 but threw an interception which setup Louisville's game ending touchdown. John Snyder walked off the field crying because he knows his future does not look bright.
Chuck Knoll spoke to the press briefly and said that it was bad loss but the team got alot of goods out of this. When asked about the Quarterback controversy Chuck Knoll said "isn't obious who are starter will be" and walked off the podium. So there you have it folks Paul Smith will be the starter but no formal press conference has been announced.
Next opponent for the Mighty Armageddon are the mighty Voltigeurs who have managed to rattle the Armageddon in the past. We'll see what happens this coming week.
The
Rangers lay down the Law by Beating the Armageddon 39-7

PreSeason Week 2 ![]()
The rangers got on board in there first drive by kicking a field goal. The Armageddon managed to squeeze in a touchdown in the 2nd Quarter but the defense was unable to hold them off as they scored 20 points in that Quarter. Folks it doesn't look good this year for the Armageddon so obviously so the organization is now leaning towards making Paul Smith there starter. Smith went 12/17 for 183 yards with 1 td and 1 interception while oldman Snyder went 4/8 for 19 yards and 1 interception it seem like he's inherited Billy Jackson's Interception curse he's thrown interceptions in both games he's played in this year. Paul Sullivan the 3rd stringer went 4/7 for 40 yards and no interceptions.
THE GOOD
Quarterbacks we're only sacked 3 times this week, and no receivers dropped any passes. Tight End Kurt Rush led all receivers with 71 yards. Despite throwing an interception Paul Smith seems to be maturing quite nicely and managed to get his first touchdown.
THE BAD
The Armageddon only managed to get 58 ruching yards and only 2 rushing first downs. The Armageddon managed to fumble the ball 3 times and lost 1. They turned it over 3 times alltogether so turnovers are still an issue and must be addressed. The once punishing Armageddon defense gave up 519 total yards. The Armageddon lost another Linebacker to injury Outside Linebacker Fred Parker hyperextended his ankle and is questionable for next week's game.
THE UGLY
They got blown away for the second straight week 39-7.
The players walked out and did not talk to the press. When asked about the Quarterback controversy owner Thornbird told the press "We're just gonna let them play it out but right now it's looking like Paul Smith will be our man but it can still go either way so don't get your panties all bunched up just yet"
As for Oldman Snyder he just stormed out of the stadium and ran over an entire news crew in his 1973 ford Pinto. No chargers we're filed against Snyder. Walt "Crybaby" Suggs did say that he still feels this team can make a run when the season starts, cuz the PreSeason don't mean squat. Next week The Armageddon have to deal with Louisville next week and are expected to lay down and let Louisville win like these past 2 games.
The
Flood drown the Armageddon 28-0

Pre Season Week 1 ![]()
"WoW what can I say this is probably the worst loss the Armageddon have ever suffured" said Coach knoll to the media. "We we're short players" "We didn't make plays when it counted and we turned the over" I don't put the blame on John Snyder because we only had 41 active players for that game". "The NAFL office failed to sign some crucial free agents so we we're forced to go shorthanded" Continued Knoll. "Obcourse that doesn't excuse John Snyder's performance" "If he continues to perform like this I'll call his mother so she can come and give him a good spanking" said Knoll.
The Johnstown Flood despite fumbling the ball 3 times annihilated the Armageddon by drowning there hopes of ever becoming a perrenial competitor this season. It's only 1 game but it really looks like it's gonna be a pretty rough season for the Armageddon. The player of the game was safety Fred Knapp who nabbed 3 interceptions and had 4 tackles.
The flood wasted no time and got on the board with 11:59 to go in the first quarter and that basically was all she wrote. Qurterback Rookie Paul Smith went 5/8 for 54 yards and 0 interceptions compared to veteran John Snyder's numbers 9/28 for 120 yards and 5 interceptions.
"I know I let the team down" Said Snyder at the Press conference "But Coach promised me he would give me another shot and that's all I can ask right now." Then he broke out in tears and didn't answer anyquestions. Paul Smith told the press that he can take to the promise land if he's gets the chance. No comment from Flood owner Mattbooty on his teams ownage over the Armageddon. The last time these 2 teams met was in last years preseason opener and The Armageddon won that contest 23-6.
The Armageddon shorthanded we're forced to use some of there started and as a result they lost last years 1 number 1 pick to injury. He is listed as probable for the next game but still won't play at all in next week's game. The team is now fully stocked and ready to go for the next game and will be able to rest there players.
They got Waco up next so will the woes continue????? Probably
Small
Scrimmage held today

Offseason week 20
The scrimmage was only 20 minutes long and both teams looked great offensively. Both these teams meet up against each other tomorrow so if you we're tere you got to see a minor taste of things to come. Each team scored a touchdown and this might be a very exciting game for both but who knows. Both team owners are syked about there teams.
Also check out the latest Power Rankings once again the media thinks that LA will stink. Check them out here
These 2 teams will also meet in week 12 of the regular season. The Armageddon for the 2nd straight year will open up the season against the Hampton Hurricanes.
Armageddon
might go with John Snyder
The Armageddon say they might stick with John Snyder if they can't trade him. No one wanted to trade up for him the team also cut Strong Safety Doug Johnson and Cornerback Demarcus David from the line up because they failed to trade them and desperately needed some cap space. John Snyder will not play in the Pre season so Paul Smith will start all Pre Season games and go from there.
Armageddon
get Top Quarterback in the draft

Season 3 Draft Week
The Armageddon come up with a good pick and get the top Quarterback from the draft Paul Smith. No word on what will happen to John Snyder as of yet. The team is having a salary cap crisis as of right now so we'll have to wait and see what happens. John Snyder has spoken to the media and has told them that he's upset and may or may not request to be traded. LA cannot afford to trade him or they will get a huge cap hit.... ouch
The Armageddon also got another steel when they drafted Tight End Kurt Rush.
Drafted players
1 QB Paul Smith
2 TE Kurt Rush
2 TE Charlie Luck
3 RB Torrin Podoley
4 WR Dave Jones
4 RB Phil Stewart
5 SS Ahmad Brodhead
6 TE Dave Brown
7 OT James Colombo
The Armageddon also cut a crapload of players including draft picks that didn't fit the system real well and also a valiant attempt to get out of salary cap hell. OT James Colombo was cut cuz he called Coach Knoll a Cockmonger.
Players that we're cut
OT James Colombo
WR Dave Jones
TE Dave Brown
WR Marvin Thompson
RB Jim Davis
ILB Matt Elliot
RB Phil Stewart
TE Cory Wistrom
WR Derrick Erikson
Joe
Banta-Cain Retires
Season 3 Offseason
Inside Linebacker Joe Banta-Cain decides to call it quits. He spent his early years in Weber State and entered the NFL as a 5th string Linebacker for the Cincinnatti Bengals but he quickly got promoted to Water-Boy after Coaches saw what he can do with a bucket of water. After 2 years of dispensing water they let him go cuz he wanted too much money. He was only in it for the money also he wasn't a team player and the team suffered because of it.
He later moved up ranks again to the Arena Football League 2 where he became waterboy for the Albany Conquest. He spent 3 years there and was let go for the same selfish reasons.
Several years later he tried out for the newly formed NAFL league. Coach Knoll drafted him as a water-boy as well cuz he saw the passion he had in him when he was dispensing water to the players. But Linebackers Coach Kevin Greene saw something in him when Big Joe tackled one of the players for not saying thank you when he gave him his water. He made Joe strap on some pads and put him in the field and sure enough his football career was revived. He didn't see much play in his final season because of injuries but he did manage to record 6 tackles 4 of them solo. "I have decided to step away from the game and announce my retirement, effective immediately. I appreciate your understanding and wish the team best for this season" said Joe during his farewell press conference. He ran off the podium weeping like a little girl. Other players we're reached for comment. Runningback Walt (Cry Baby) Suggs was asked about Joe's Retirement and said "Who????? Oh... Oh him.... ugh okay .... yeah we'll miss him"
