Season 6 Week by Week Schedule
Season 6 had alot of ups and downs
Alot of teams we're still experimenting with the hybrid 8 man football style as was the case with the past other 2 seasons. This year it was more of an arena style scoring as you can see with the scoring in the play offs. Every team including the best teams went thru a slump by losing to slow teams and some of the good teams overcame these obstacles. Teams like Texas and Los Angeles came out slugging and looked like sure favorites to take it all but we're unable to recover after a string of loses. Texas managed to survive because of a Division filled with Expansion Teams.
Those expansion teams we're decent and looked like they we're evenly matched. Texas ended up just a tad better. Florida came out slugging as well and looked like they had the most dominating defense ever in the history of the league. Florida had a good offense last year and the defensive boost certainly helped them this season. But again they faltered a little when they began losing games they shoulda won halfway thru the season.
The Sharks (Predators) began the season by coming from behind on several occassions and barely winning games. This worried fans quite a bit because they we'ren't the same team they we're last year. The Defense (although severely crippled) managed to keep the team within striking distance. They lost a couple easy wins but came out strong in the 2nd half of the season. In the final game of the season the Division was on the line and The Flood managed to get the win and take the Division away from the Sharks after a 2 year run for the Sharks as Divsion leaders.
The last 2 season there was only 2 teams that had 1,000+ yard rushers The Sharks and Armageddon. This season there was 6 so teams we're more focussed on getting running games going and wanted to step away slightly from being pass only teams. Those teams we're
| FARQUHAR (Outlaws) | 198 | 1742 |
| GLENN (Sharks) | 181 | 1707 |
| MESERVEY (Copperheads) | 190 | 1243 |
| DILCHAND (Whalers) | 211 | 1226 |
| SUGGS (Armageddon) | 206 | 1212 |
| DEGRUY (Stampede) | 198 | 1184 |
Villanova of the Johnstown Flood was named League MVP and led the league in passing with 6311 yards.
This season produced some of the greatest playoff games ever played in the history of the league and a few obvious blow outs.
* One of the strangest but greatest games ever played in the history of the NAFL
Mexico City was trailing 21 - 0 but managed to finally score towards the end of the first quarter.

This game had some of the strangest turnarounds ever known to the great sport of Football. In the second quarter the Outlaws managed to turn things around in the exact opposite direction. No stats are posted because of the NDA that I signed and because people jumped to conclusions when stats we're posted.

The score was now tied and those mistakes that we're made earlier we're now forgotten it was a new game and despite the fact that the Outlaws clearly had the momentum on there side. It was still anybody's game and the Sharks managed to go up by 2 scores yet by capitalizing on 2 interceptions that turned into 2 offensive touchdowns but The Outlaws managed to get within one score before the 3rd qurter was finished.
Both teams we're moving the ball fast and easy but the Sharks turned the ball over twice and it allowed The Outlaws to tie the Game with 6 remaining in the 4th.
The Outlaws took the lead for the first time 56-49 and the Sharks we're marching down the field.
On the very next play the Sharks scored and converted the PAT to tie the game just like that.
The Following was a blur because I had to go to work. There was an interception return for TD in the play log and 2 quick scores on passing plays by the Outlaws and 1 for the Sharks. The Outlaws missed the extra point for there final touchdown. The final score was Outlaws 76 Sharks 63 had there been 5 more minute left to go I'm sure the Sharks would've managed to comeback and win it or even tie it and send it to overtime.
Sharks fans we're shocked but the team will change there name back to the Predators next season because of public demand. The Sharks could've been the first team to win it all twice and could've been the first team to win the Alpha-Omega Bowl back to back so this season will be alot harder to overcome for even the greatest of teams. So it'll definitely be interesting to see if the Sharks can still become the first Dynasty the league has ever seen.
The Alpha Omega Bowl
Florida came out firing and the score was 10 - 0 at the end of the first quarter. But The Outlaws who trailed pretty much in the first quarter of every game they played in the play offs in the first quarter. Including trailing 21-0 to the Sharks they didn't worry and manged to make a comeback and take the game.

Not many screenshots we're taken of this game because this game was played out overnight while I was sleeping. It looked like another good game in this not so profilic post season.
Upcoming Season 7
Season 7 will have more teams comeback like the Louisville Cardinals and the Chattanooga Express. 2 more teams are still in negotiations so they may or may not make it into the league this season. No word on the structure of the league and divsions this will most likely change in due time little by little till it's back to it's oringinal form.
