Predictions Round 1

Whalers will roll over the Griffins 59-34 The Griffins barely made it to the playoffs

The Armageddon will beat the Steelers but just barely because they have homefield advantage final score 38-35. This is by far the most anticipated this season. This matchup despite being an early round matchup is expected to upstage the Alpha Omega Bowl as well.

The Stampede will stomp on the Outlaws 45-21 simply because The Outlaws are nothing without the running game they once had. The defense is there strong point but the lack of scoring and holding on to the ball will surely tire them out

The Express will take down the Pirates denying the Pirates there 3rd straight trip to the Alpha Omega Bowl. This is my upset of the Week 47-40.

LA Armageddon vs Saskatchewan Steelers

The Armageddon pretty much led the entire game. They jumped to a 21-7 lead in the first Quarter and never looked back. The Steelers got within 1 score a couple of times but Los Angeles ended the Steelers reign at the spot. In the 3rd Quarter both teams we're scoreless but the Armageddon started to pull away for good in the 4th by outscoring the Steelers 21-7. It was Armageddon for the Steelers but many players said they'll get there revenge next year.

Baltimore Griffins vs. Florida Whalers

Baltimore held there ground defensively and we're actually winning 13-6 into the 3rd quarter but the Florida Whalers came Whaling back and outscored Baltimore 28-9. Florida might have a hard time beating the Armageddon if they struggle at the half like they did on this game.

Mexico City Outlaws vs Fort Worth Stampede

Well this was the Upset of the first round which I wrongly predicted. The Outlaws we're down 14-3 after the first quarter of play but managed to narrow the margin just before the half 17-22. They held the Stampede to 10 points and scored 17 points of there own to complete the comeback. This was the most exciting game to watch in the playoffs so far.

Chattanooga Express vs. New Orleans Pirates

This seemed boring at times but it had it's good moments here and there. The Express took a 15-13 lead in the 3rd Quarter by scoring a touchdown and then making a 2 point conversion. The Pirates we're not swayed and slowly began pulling away. Could the Pirates make it to a 3rd consecutive Alpha Omega Bowl and lose again? Only time will tell.

The LA Armageddon will beat the Florida Whalers 44-34 simply because Florida didn't play many great teams except for the Pirates which they beat rather easily. But they never faced LA or the Steelers during the course of the regular season. Either way whoever wins this matchup will win it all.

Outlaws at Pirates

The Outlaws cinderella season ends here and now. The Pirates will crush them as they have done in the past few years when they met during the regular season. Ever since the undefeated season where they blew up in the playoffs against the Express this team has not been the same. Final score will be 47-21 and the Pirates will make it to there fourth Alpha Omega Bowl where they will lose and come step closer to becoming the Buffalo Bills of the NAFL because this would be there 3rd straight.

LA Armageddon vs Florida Whalers

I will never doubt the Power of the Florida Whalers ever again as they pulled off the upset of the season by sending the Armageddon to there impending doom. The Armageddon was within 7 points at one point but never really got any closer. The house was packed and rowdy but Florida shocked the entire crowd and it was completely silent the entire 2nd half.

Mexico City Outlaws vs New Orleans Pirates

Well it looks like the Pirates will be making there 3rd conscutive trip to the Alpha Omega Bowl and many fans believe the 3rd time's a charm. The Outlaws wasted no time in scoring as they got a safety on the Opening Drive and returned the Free Kick for a Touchdown as well. It was 9-0 just like that and this was by far the best game in the post season up to this point. After the first Quarter the score was 9-7 and at the half the Outlaws we're holding the Pirates to 2 points also. In the 3rd Quarter the Pirates maneged to get the lead.

There was 4 lead changes after that point and in the end the Pirates escaped with a 52-50 win.

Alpha Omega Bowl Predictions

New Orleans Pirates vs Florida Whalers

Like I said I will never doubt the Florida again as they will go on and win there 2nd Alpha Omega Bowl putting them in a 3 way tie for most Alpha Omega Bowls won. Florida made a very powerfull statement last night by crushing The Armageddon and made it look easy. The score will be 49-30 and Florida's Defense will make it tough for the Pirates to score.

Okay so this was no walk in the park for Florida like I said it would be. They we're down 14-0 after 1 quarter of play and we're down and 24-7 at one point before pulling within 3 points 24-21 at the half.

Just before the 3rd quarter ended the Whalers finally got the lead. The 4th quarter was one for the Ages as both teams scored 15 points and both we're successfull in 2 point conversions. The Pirates even tho they played a great game just simply choked and tried to redeem themselves down the stretch but could not complete the task.
