Christmas is just around the corner and the Colts are no longer undefeated. Small update I finished up the Patriots throwback helmets and finished up the Seahawks helmet history. 15 Days til Christmas and I only have one person crossed out of my list. But more importatnly we have a Heisman Winner and it's Reggie Bush congrats to him and the NFL career that awaits him in the future obcourse. I updated the NFL throwback helmets. I got 2 old Patriots helmets up and I also finished up The Vikings historical helmets. A new game is out and it's called Bowl Bound and it's a text simulator for College Football check it out here and for the helmets just click 3d helmets above then click NFL and then click on a helmet to bring up it's helmet history. You should be able to tell which ones are clickable.

No other News to report for now except that I can't wait for the Rose Bowl and I can't wait for Christmas to be over..

Turkey is over and so now begins the terror that is the Holiday shopping season. Good luck to all this year. Just a small update. I updated the Arizona Cardinals helmets to the newer updated logo on both helmet types. Also added 2 NCAA helmets Buffalo Bulls and The Kansas State Wildcats. Go here for those For the NFL helmets go here

Okay time is flying fast October is almost over and Halloween is coming so beware of Trick or treaters. College Football is heating up and The NFL is painting a better picture of what's to come. As far as Video Games go Maximum Football might be out before the year is up according to Matrixgames and the Division Rivals forums and Division Rivals site are little dead but that does not matter because the game is still being worked on and I have faith in them. So the year went by quick and I feel like I'm getting older by the second.

Also EA has announced a new Football title that's in the works that'll feature graphics and simulation. It's called NFL Head Coach Challenge very little info has been given out at this point but more to come in the coming weeks I hope.

October is here and that means the Holidays are around the corner which means Vacation time is coming up but it also means living your life in hell and dissarray because now you gotta shop for people in your Xmas list. I wish I we're a kid once again so I wouldn't have to worry about this stuff heheheh.

Okay now for the update, today I added some more college football helmets. They are in there respected places but I'm too lazy to post all the different links to the helmets and so I pasted them below. The first one (the Green helmet) is Tulane in case you we're wondering and that was the hardest helmet I've ever had to make.

The University of Hawaii helmet the silver one I wasn't too sure of the stripe and I haven't seen it anywhere and don't think they've worn them just yet. They are supposed to wear them in a couple of games. I'm also too lazy to name the rest for you right now heheh. Just go conference to conference to find out.

Small update but an update nontheless. I added 2 pac10 helmets The Huskies and the Cougars check out the NCAA section and then go PAC10 obcourse. I also have been working on a revolution helmet for quite a while now and had some time this weekend to touch it up a little. Click here to see samples

Summer is almost over and College football is here and Pro Football is just around the corner. This is the best time of the year unless your a kid and your headed back to school.

I made a few college helmets and totally overhauled the NCAA helmet section. Added some new helmets (You figure out which ones are new buddy). Like I said before Iam not sure when these will be done and if they'll ever be finished. I decided to do this to kick off the college football season and because of popular demand.

I'll try to get more updates in as possible. Please no more requests for College football helmets Iam only one person with a certain amount of free time. Enjoy what's there for now there is more to come and I promise to update more than once a month to say the least .

I updated the Helmet of the Month page which is pretty much it for the week unless you look at The Skullsmashers page as well. I fell behind on that Monthly helmet page so thought it should be updated. Go here

It has been a while since my last update, well actually I have been updating my skullsmashers but that's for other purposes obcourse. I added 3 NCAA helmets. Boise State, Utah Utes, and the Villanova Wildcats. I'll try to put some more stuff up later. I kinda got away from the helmet for a bit but will not stop entirely unless I get bored of it.

Longtime no update heheh sorry that would be my fault entirely. Actually I was working on a 3d football helmet tutorial for 3d studio max 5 during all that time in my forums go here to check it out.

I also added to the 2d template a new facemask fixed some highlights took out some base helmets becuase they looked the same added the glow effect which is from the light tracer in 3d studio max.

Does not look good as a gif I guess.

Also added a new cafe press shop. I'm limited to what I can add at the moment but I'll definitely add more to it and maybe upgrade to a full shop if it's turns out to be a good move. Go here to check it out.

Nothing new in the world of Football gaming from the new games standpoint. But if your a guy who uses FBpro98 you might wanna check out what they have here it's like the old netscoreboard which lets you see the playlog as it the games is underway play by play.

Fbpro is still alive and kickin and it can be played in Kali although the Kali site has been down the last couple of days and hopefully it's not anything bad.

Will have some more 3d helmets for the next update for sure.

I finished the NFL Europe helmets ......well the current ones anyway so I'll some more later. I also fixed the Eagles helmet I made the wings look a little smoother. I gotta thank Crush for providing me with the vectorized logo. Check the NFL Europe link below.

If you have Total Pro Football Arlie Rahn has released a final patch that'll fix what was left unfixed. Some people are saying it's pretty darn good. Go here for the patch.

I added an NFL Europe/WLAF helmet section, so far only NFL Europe but more to come that's for sure. I said USFL was next to follow but I decided to go with NFL Europe first so I apologize to anyone I may have upset. Go here

Finally an update

Sorry been busy writing a 3d helmet tutorial in the forums it's not done yet but I got a pretty chunk of it done go here to check it out. I did have time today to add the bills helmet history well most of the helmets anyway.

No news from the other fronts except for Madden Football on consoles and PC no need to post links cuz I'm lazy that way hopefully this summer we'll hear from the independant developers.

A new game has been announced by the creator of Total pro football Arlie Rahn for Grey Dog Software called Bowl Bound. They had a chat about it on Thrusday or on Friday I forget which so it's my bad for not bringing it up sooner. It's a text simulator and it's college football from my understanding.

It's been a while since the last update on the 3d helmets but I finally have one. I added the falcons helmet history. Thanks to Crush for providing the vectorized logos. I updated the Giants and Colts helmets because of emails stating that the logos we're too big on those helmets. I reduced some of the AFL helmets frames from 41 to 33 for easier loading times. I also reduced them on 2 cfl helmets you will be able to tell which ones.

Upcoming things

I may or may not make a page with the NFL helmets using some of the new facemasks I made still thinking about it a little more. If I do decide to redo them in that style I will definitely reduce the frames a little more. To 20 frames more or less.

Nothing else to report for this coming week.

Added more facemasks to the 2d template and added a singlebar and double bar masks I showed them at the forum here They do look kinda funny I know but I'm not going to fix them right away. No other news I'll drop by the forums everynow and then but for the next 2 weeks I'm gonna be pretty busy. I also fixed some things on the 2d template like the smallcage mask you can download it zipped up right here.

Nothing else is new I'll try and have some kind of update this week. With the newer helmets.

Big update today well sorta I made 2 new facemasks for the first 3d helmet I had made. A small cage and a fullcage mask. I might make more or get started on revolution helmet but not anytime soon cuz i plan on making a tutorial as I make the revolution helmet.

I added some more historical helmets. well the prototypes that we're in display when the franchise was first announced and also the Ravens helmet history. Not alot of work but I cleaned up the revens helmet a little. Credit goes out to Crush for providing the nice clean vectorized versions of the logos. I'm too lazy to post a link for the lazy so just click on 3d helmets then click on NFL and then click on the Ravens or Jaguars helmet whichever you want to click on first. Also fixed the Steelers 2d helmet cuz it didn't have the silver stroke that went around the circle.

Check out these helmets that we're made by forum member Crush he does good work. Click here he used the photoshop 2d helmet template obcourse. I was gonna report that the Forums we're down but it was less than 10 minutes so no biggie now it was a false alarm.

The Super Bowl is less than 2 days away if I'm doing math correctly. Not much activity on this front it's been a pretty busy week but I'm certainly ready for the big game this Sunday. I updated the helmet of the month page with last month's winner which is pretty much it for today. I'll update the members helmet page tomorrow with some of the people with some of the contestants.

I added more 2d member helmets I also added more stuff to the 2d helmet template in addition to what forum member Crush has included. I added a new shiny black helmet layer as well as a new highlight. I fixed some problems I had with the last version as well that I wasn't aware of. Apparently I had trouble pasting my logos for some strange reason i had to add new layer and then paste my logo. Anyway that apparently got fixed by good ole paintshop pro. I opened it in PSP and just saved it and BAM!!! problem fixed. I reuploaded the file this morning.

Also bad news Maximum Football has been pushed back. No date was given just yet ... but a forthcoming announcement of the new date is in the works.

I think it's fair to say that at that this point Iam no longer a part of the Division Rivals team. I have not spoken to the team in almost a month. Nothing bad happened he's just been very busy lately and so have I. Mike Bjourstrom is a good person and I wouldn't mind having him as a boss. So I wish him the best and I will be checking out his game when it comes out.

I made an update the 2d helmet page I added NFL prototypes right now only the Jacksonville Jaguar helmets are there and those we're made by a forum member named Crush. I also added a members section where I put members helmets on display click on 3d helmets up on top and then click on 2d helmets or link for the lazy click here :)

Those helmets we're from forum members who posted up there helmets for the helmet contest obcourse i haven't used this month's entries just yet til sometime in February.

Made 2 more NCAA helmets Cal and the Oregon State Beavers. I'm watching the playoffs right now and I like going for the underdogs so I'm going for Pittsburgh and Atlanta. That is all and hopefully we'll see Maximum Football within 2 weeks.

Okay updated the NCAA helmets with the Sooners helmet and updated the NAFL helmet with 2 new helmet the Waco Rangers and the DC Federals. Also updated the NAFL history to reflect those changes I'm too lazy to post the links right now so just click the 3d helmets link above then you find those pages there I hope.

Also in the Football video game news EA has struck again by signing an exclusive deal with ESPN so not only did they hog up the rights to the NFL names and teams but now they stole the ESPN name from Take Two and VC. Does that mean they are pushing Madden out of the way to make room for ESPN or are they just taking the ESPN name because they can.

Sega fired back by buying exclusive rights to Major League Baseball stuff. Why does this spell trouble for the sports game genre in general. I smell something bad in the future It's a shame that people kling to name brands instead of quality, customization, and how well a game plays.

Fbpro Source code Watch

Been keeping a close eye on the source code thing with fbpro. So far Jay has not been able to obtain it but he tells everyone in the fbpro community to have faith. I'll keep updating and post when I hear something else.

FBpro source code within reach

It looks like the new year is off to a good start thanks for bigbaldben of blindsideblitz. Jay the Impaler also known as fbprofan in some forums has been in contact with one of the developers of the very popular fbpro series of PC football games he says he might be able to get a hold of the source code for fbpro98 and fbpro99. It probably doesn't mean squat to some of you but to people on football leagues like me it means alot and it lets programmers these games play upto todays standards and maybe the graphics could beefed up as well on both games. Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all I updated the helmet of the month section I added December's winner congrats to MrPink for winning it. The new contest is up for January helmet contest is up as well be the first winner of 2005. Nothing new to report except that Maximum Football is a little over month away from release.

Hopefully this'll be the year that both Division Rivals and Maximum Football both make a huge impact for the future of PCfootball and hopefully it is not known as the year that EA takes over Football video gaming industry.
