Added some more Historical helmets I added the Eagles helmet history although not complete I also added some more Redskins helmets 3 helmets the first 3 on that page.

I removed the facemasks on some of the older helmets and I realize the padding on the back should not be there. I just took out the facemask but that'll change sometime in the future. I was working on an older leather helmet but messed it up after working for hours and dunno if I will start another one up but I might when I get more free time.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all.

I managed to update my site a little today despite having family come over today. I made changes to some UFL helmets Brazil Shockers, Washington Presidents, Iceland Penguins, and The Bulgaria Dragons. I made alternate helmets for some the teams as well like the Rhinos. I plan to bring back my league and put it into Maximum Football if it turns out to be a good game. If not then I'll just wait til Division Rivals to come out so we'll see what happens there.

The game will allow alternate helmets and I will add a helmet history page despite forgetting what teams I've changed in the past. I'll try my best and make it accurate as possible and I will also add some of the alternate helmets.

Maximum Football is not Scheduled to be released around Super Bowl week. No exact date is given but both David Winter and Matrix Games have said that for sure it will come out Super Bowl Week.

Hopefully this game and Division Rivals can make a difference because EA has literally got the football video game market cornered. I know Sega and NFL blitz will continue to make games despite the absence of the nfl license but they will not be able to compete. It's too bad that the majority of the people can't look beyond player names and teams. They are just that player names and teams.

Sega and Take Two respond to EA's new Football monopoly

If you haven't heard by now EA has obtained exclusive rights to all NFL teams, stadiums and player names which means that they are the only game in town now if you want to play with real real NFL teams and players. Take 2 and Sega respond on this issue go here.

Also new svreenshots for Maximum Football and a release date of Super Bowl has been announced by Mr. Winter and Matrix Games. Most people we're hoping we'd have it before Christmas but oh well atleast you know now more or less.

No updates here but that'll change sometime soon when I get caught up on things. I did put up December's helmet contest a little late so sorry about that. But get in now cuz my forum has been dead since my absence. Go here

I'm back with alot of explaining to do

Sorry about the lack of updates I had no internet connection for an extended amount of time because of a dispute with the Phone company but I'm back now for good I hope. I made some changes to the original football helmet. Go to the NFL helmets and see if you spot it and 2 cfl helmets have the changes too. Only 3 of the helmets have the new changes and once again I'm too lazy to redo all the helmets again so I'll redo them once in a great big while. I still gotta make some of the other helmets smaller in size.

I also added some more colors to the helmet template and added a somewhat shiny facemask layer and some bling bling layers. Also added 4 2d helmets in the Misc section, and added the CFL and XFL 2d page it only has three helmets so far.

Anyways the holiday season has arrived RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!! or get trampled to death by holiday shoppers. J/K

Nothing much today just setup the Armageddon page and getting ready for the new NAFL season. Also fixed one helmet the Cardinals changed there helmet. That's pretty much it for today so this is still the world's crappiest website.

Big update on the NAFL helmet page. I updated it for Season 3 and put the NAFL franchise history on it's own page. I also updated the Jets helmet history page it turns out that I left some helmets out silly me .

Also it's a done deal Maximum-Football will be out sometime before the Holidays it is now in the hands of the distributor. They still need to make the box art so who knows how long that will take but the deal was inked and it should be ready in time for the holidays. The game will be distributed by matrixgames and so we'll see what happens hopefully it will come out within 2 weeks maybe I can still buy it.

Added 2 more historical helmet sets the Bucaneers and the Chargers. Go to the NFL helmets and click on the Chargers helmet or the Bucs helmet also. Grey Cup is next Week but hopefully Maximum Football is also released on the PC. Good things are also coming from Division Rivals in the coming months.

I touched up the website a little by adding some banners on some of the pages up on top. Also made some changes in the NFL and the Arena League Helmet page. They look a little nicer atleast i hope they do. They are a little uneven so still haven't figured out how to fix that. Started using Dreamweaver recently so still new at it.

The Helmet of the month page is up it looks kinda cheesy but oh well click here. Also the new helmet contest is on for the month of november here.

I'm not sure how long I'll keep this going, I guess if it turns out to be a good thing I'll keep it going.

I also updated the Colts helmet so now it has the gray facemask instead of the blue facemask they had last year and I put numbers on the back just for the heck of it. I was gonna put 18 but decided on zeros. I'll make more historical helmets in the weeks to come.

Also Maximum Football may be coming out soon, so lets hope it's a good game click here.

congratulations to Irwin541 for Winning the helmet contest. I made the helmet for him but the logo was done by his friend Jason Tucker. He got a free 3d helmet of his choice since this one I already made it for him a while back. Anyway I will start another helmet contest sometime this week and also put up a page showing each helmet of the month soon.

I made the Cardinals and Jets historical helmets, just click on 3d helmets above then click on NFL helmets and click on the helmets in question and you will see there historical helmets. More to come obcourse and also hopefully I'll have the main site up soon, I still don't know what to make it about, I'm thinking it should be about 3d in general but still not sure and also thinking about making an online comic.

Also fixed the new helmet section I decided to just stick with the small mask format. Click here

I know not much activity in this department as of late cuz I've been working on my online Journal it's basically all the things I've done from the past minus all the boring personal stuff so that is why there is huge gaps between dates heheheh. This is stuff from the 3 webpages I've had in the past. Just combining all the news and info into this one page. I still need to add more dates to it so it's not completely done just yet.

Just added a guest book you can go here if you wish to sign it or make a quick comment or whatever. Haven't been doing much been focussing on looking for a new job lately. During the week I'll make some new stuff hopefully all last week was very rough week for me cuz alot of family stuff came up.

I added some stuff to my helmets the first one below just added a small flare to make it look rounder and slightly shiny. I added it to some of the NFL helmets dunno if I'm gonna do it to all of them cuz I'm tired of redoing the NFL helmets heheh. The Avengers helmet is the newer chubbier helmet which is the one I use for the 2d helmets. I added the round trimming around the bottom and the made the stripe stick out. No plans on making the changes the 2d .psd file cuz I would have to start from scratch.

I still plan on changing all the helmets to 32 frames still need to get that huge task done.

I added some historical nfl team helmets just go to the nfl helmets and click on the raiders helmet or the chiefs helmets to reveal there historical helmets. Right now those are the only teams with historical helmets but more to come in the future.

Okay I added a baseball helmet page, everything is mixed but will sort them out later when I add more. Go here I will add a link off the helmet page later when I get more helmets done. I'm too lazy right now

Also another Maximum Football update, Mr. Winter creator of Maximum Football did an online interview, I haven't heard it yet, it's in .mp3 format go here. You gotta hurry tho it's geocites so if alot of people get it they might run out of bandwidth.

Updates on both Division Rivals and Maximum Football. Division Rivals has some screenshots posted on there forums. Go here you have to subscribe to there forums to view the screenshots.

Maximum Football also had an update, the game was viewed in the jumbotron TV on th CFL labour Day classic game. Maybe this game will out soon but still unsure go here to find out more and check out Dave's forums for some feedback as well.

Also Madden 2005 is supposed to be out for the PC today. I'm not completely sure but according to EBgames it out right now. Some people also claim to have gotten it and others say it's not in sight.

Reduced amount of frames on NCAA helmets and improved on the Wolverines helmet, remade the Crimson Tide Helm, and also remade the Bruins helmet. The page loads a little faster now.

It's been exactly one since this came about and just in time for the Football season well actually it's been longer than that I've had this site up since June 6 of last year but with a free webhost using the old low poly helmet which I still have. It's actually the first year with an actual domain thornbird.net. It's been a great first year and got alot of visitors which is more than I expected cuz I ran out of bandwidth twice this year. That has been taken care of so there's no problem there.

I cleaned up a little I reduced the number of frames on the helmets from 40 to 32 which will make it a little easier on some people with slower connections. Not as much but still good enough I hope. So far only the NFL 3d helmets have been reduced and made the Cowboys and Lions helmets a little brighter.

I'm also holding a little contest to kick off the season whoever comes the closest to guessing the score will get a free 3d helmet from me go here to find out more or click on the helmet contest banner. You don't have to sign up but I would advise it so it can be easier to track you down. Just my way of saying thanks to all of you who have visited this site.

As for the helmets I hope to reduce more frames on the helmets and get them all done. I have way too many but might as well do it now before they pile up even more.

Been working on a 3d baseball helmet because some people have asked me if I was ever gonna make one and had also been thinking about it on and off. Here's an early prototype of how it looks so far. The LA logo on both sides of the helmet we're put there for testing purposes.

Also added some NCAA helmets North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Miami Hurricanes.

I'm back my computer's motherboard and CPU both got burned out and finally got a chance to replace them. I was out for a pretty long time and was busy finishing up helmets on my Brother's computer. I was out for over 3 weeks and it's good to be back. Nothing big to report just updated the Lions helmet thanks to Christopher for reminding me they have a black facemask and I kept forgetting to change it.

According to the frontpage of the Maximum football site there is a new build that was sent to testers. This is the first of three expected release candidates. Still nobody is quite sure what the newest target date for the game is but hopefully it's soon.

Added 2 NCAA Helmets Standford and the Oregon State Ducks.

Also made a 2d helmet page with NFL helmets with the newer helmet template I made. The helmet was done in my 3d app obcourse but the rest was done in photoshop.

"The game has been 'finished' (meaning a fully playable game) for quite some time. I've just chosen not to release it until I feel as many of the little details I can clean up have been done. The next build sent to the testers will be a Release Candidate 1. We'll see how that goes."

Finished up the last 3 Arena football league helmets Georgia Force, Colorado Cursh, and Austin Wranglers. NFL Europe or USFL is next I'm still undecided. Also added the smilie set in the downloads section. Some helmets I'm unsure of because I could not find any pictures with a back view (I should watch more Arena Football) so they will change if my assumptions we're incorrect.

Added 2 more AFL helmets Philadelphia Soul and The Dallas Desperados. Also been updating my Armageddon page here and when time permits. Hopefully will finish Arena Football helmets soon and get started on USFL helmets if enough resources become available since those helmets are scarce.

Sorry about that my site exceeded it's bandwidth last month so I disabled hot linking off my site I think that's what took it down alot of people we're linking my helmets to there signature.
